I can't believe it's here

i'm less than two weeks off from the premiere of "The Second Chance" and i've been all over the country. if i met you somewhere along the journey, thanks for stopping in to check on a brothaman. i can feel the love.

i've been getting some good feeback from some topics raised here in the blog. i'm going to transfer some comments on to the Message Board so that everyone can weigh in on them. some of the perspectives people have are quite fascinating. i'll have an icon soon, but for now, just look to the left and click the link to Message Board, or copy and paste this into your browser:

my body's kinda tired. i was able to hit the gym a couple of times this week, but i've been getting so caught up in the hustle that i haven't been back. i have to watch that, because i've realized that it's true that working out gives us energy (and also busts the gut).

to everyone in Cali, i'll be there on the 11th and 12th for the screening of The Second Chance at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles. stop in and say "hi."

i'm gonna let you check out the message board now, and i'll check on you later.

Hello Jeff:
Just wanted to let you know you are in my prayers. Spirit to spirit can feel when another soldier is working hard and can't stop to rest. When your destiny entails greatness EVERYTHING around you will be great the good, the bad, the ugly (smile).

Shalom

Hey Mr. Carr....don't know if you remember me but...Danielle, from Fisk. I work on your "one man show" with you back in...2001 or 2002. I ran your slides. Its so awesome to hear that you are doing big, things. I'm gonna check and see if any theaters here are playing the movie soon (Chicago) and I will surely be going to see it if they are. Mad Luv Mr. Carr!

Hey Jeff,
Just as we all followed you spearheading the 1990 TSU boycott "back in the day" and all of your productions here in Nashville, we will all follow you to the big screen to see your movie! Keep up the good work, we're proud of you!

JC,
I'm sure your mom does not know that I am your number 1 Fan! Well, me and my mom of course graciously share the spot with your mother as your #1 fan. The movie is a hit as far as we all are concerned!
